Australian OT Sexuality Special Interest Group

For international allied health professionals with an interest in sexuality.

The Australian OT Sexuality Special Interest Group (SIG) has been meeting for over five years and now has 200+ members from Australia and overseas.

We are a group of mostly occupational therapists; however, we do have professionals from many other disciplines including: psychosexual therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and sociologists, among others. The SIG corresponds via Google Groups and meets bimonthly online using Zoom to discuss all things sexuality and disability. This is a free SIG aimed at increasing health professional knowledge on working with clients to support sexuality.

Our regular meetings are usually at night to account for those with young children. However, we do hold meetings at various times throughout the year for our international members and to also account for presenter availability. Zoom links with confirmed dates/times are sent to SIG members in the months preceding the meetings. For more information about previous meetings and upcoming meetings, please refer to the information below.

If you are interested in joining the special interest group, get in touch and enter your details in the available form!
